ElsieSLATERIt is with deep sadness to announce Elsie has passed away peacefully at RSUH on 23rd April 2023 aged 97 years, with her loving family around her. Reunited with George, aka Rocky. Elsie, beloved mum to Robert, Helen, Tracey and the late Mick. Treasured nan, great nan and great great nan, beloved partner to Keith and dear sister in law to Iris. A kind friend to many, she will be greatly missed by all her friends, family and her nieces and nephews. Her funeral service is to be held on Tuesday 30th May 2023, 1.30pm at St James Church, Longton, followed by the burial service at Longton Cemetery. Mourners are kindly asked to meet at the church and are welcome to join the family afterwards at the Florence Sports and Social Club after the service. Floral tributes are welcome as are donations, should you wish to donate in loving memory of Elsie, monies welcomed towards the Douglas Macmillan Children's Hospice.
